What is the Dubai International Boat Show?
The Dubai International Boat Show began in 1992 as the Watersports & Powerboat Show, held indoors at Dubai World Trade Centre. It has since moved onto the water at Dubai Harbour, and the organiser now calls it the largest marine and luxury lifestyle show in the Middle East.
Dubai World Trade Centre organises it. By the organiser's figures, the most recent show welcomed more than 32,000 visitors and 1,000 brands, with over 200 boats and watercraft on display and more than 60 global and regional launches. It was named Best Boat Show in Asia Pacific at the Yacht Style Awards 2025. These are the organiser's own numbers, not an independent audit.
What is new for 2026?
The biggest change is the date. The 32nd edition runs from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November 2026, not in April as an earlier announcement on the organiser's own site still says. Anything you read that gives 8 to 12 April 2026 is out of date.
In an interview published by the organiser, Dubai World Trade Centre's Alex Nicholl announced a more prominent harbour area for brokerage houses, building on the brokerage section that debuted in 2025, and a tender service linking the brokerage pontoons with the main marina display. Treat both as announced plans: the final layout, boarding points and tender timetable had not been published when this guide was checked. A full list of 2026 launches has not been published either.

How is the show organised?
The organiser lists seven zones:
- Superyacht Avenue: the latest superyachts, with builders and specialists on hand.
- Marina Display: the on-water display from international boatbuilders.
- Marine Luxury & Lifestyle: nautical fashion and lifestyle brands.
- Marine Gadgets & Equipment (ESS Expo): equipment, supplies and services.
- Dive Zone: diving gear and underwater technology.
- Innovation Zone: new marine technology, with 2026 themes still to be announced.
- Port of Call by Italian Trade Agency: talks and insight from industry experts.
Around them sit watersports demonstrations, a dive pool, the Captains & Crew Lounge and the VIP Lounge. The Privé Lounge by Gulf Marine and Captains Night are invitation only, so a public ticket does not get you in. The ticket seller's listing invites visitors to "step on board breathtaking superyachts", but no rule guarantees access to every boat, so arrange a viewing with the exhibitor if one yacht matters to you.
When is it, and what are the hours?
| Day | Date | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Wednesday | 25 November | 15:00 to 20:00 |
| Thursday | 26 November | 15:00 to 20:00 |
| Friday | 27 November | 15:00 to 21:00 |
| Saturday | 28 November | 15:00 to 21:00 |
| Sunday | 29 November | 15:00 to 20:00 |
All times are Dubai time, and the organiser and its official ticket seller give the same schedule. There is no separate trade-only day: public and trade visitors share all five. This is an afternoon and evening show, so plan for sunset over the harbour rather than a morning start. A day-by-day timetable for talks, demonstrations and Captains Night had not been published at the time of checking.
Where is it held?
The show is at Dubai Harbour, the waterfront district between Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters. This is the mistake to avoid: the organiser is Dubai World Trade Centre, but the show is not at the World Trade Centre exhibition halls on Sheikh Zayed Road. Set your taxi or map to Dubai Harbour.
Dubai International Airport is Dubai's main passenger airport, and the Metro Red Line runs from Terminals 1 and 3 towards the Dubai Marina end of the city.
How do tickets work?
Public tickets are sold online through Platinumlist, the organiser's official ticketing partner, and start from AED 60. The organiser sells them as individual and family tickets; the full price list, child ages and multi-day options were not shown on the pages checked here, so read the options at checkout.
Some visitors can attend free, subject to approval:
- Trade visitors: proof of industry required, with access to ESS Connect, the free B2B matchmaking programme.
- Boat owners: boat registration card required, with a VIP tour of the show and VIP Lounge access.
- Captains: captain's licence required.
- Divers: diver's licence required.
- Media: accredited journalists have free access to all five days, confirmed in person with a business card.
How do I get there and get around?
There is no visitor parking at the venue, so plan public transport, a free shuttle or a taxi. The ticket seller lists these routes:
- Metro: take the Red Line to Al Khail station, cross the metro bridge and board the free shuttle bus from the American University bus stop. RTA's current station list names that stop Al Fardan Exchange (R35), so look for both names.
- Tram: ride to Mina Seyahi tram station and take the free shuttle bus.
- Taxi and ride-hailing: RTA taxis and the Careem, Uber and Bolt apps go straight to Dubai Harbour.
The organiser has published 20% discount codes for rides to and from Dubai Harbour between 19 November and 1 December 2026: DIBS2026C for Careem and DIBS2026U for Uber, each on two rides up to AED 15 off, and DIBS2026 for Bolt, on five rides up to AED 20 off. Inside the show the organiser describes buggies and water taxis between areas.

Where can I park?
Not at Dubai Harbour: the ticket seller states there is "strictly no visitor parking" at the venue. Drivers are directed to Nakheel Mall Monorail Station on Palm Jumeirah, where parking costs AED 10 an hour, and then to the free shuttle bus to Dubai Harbour. Limited RTA paid parking is also available near Al Khail Metro station. Older organiser copy mentions free parking at Skydive Dubai with dates from a previous edition, so do not count on it unless it is confirmed for November 2026.
What can I bring, and what should I wear?
Neither the organiser nor the ticket seller publishes a bag size limit, a prohibited items list, a camera rule or a dress code for the show. The seller's general terms reserve the right to conduct security searches, so expect bags to be checked.
Practical advice, not an official rule: November evenings in Dubai are warm, and you will spend most of the visit on pontoons and docks, so wear comfortable shoes that slip off easily, since boats commonly ask visitors to remove them before boarding. Bring something for the sun for a 15:00 arrival.
Children, service animals and accessibility
The organiser says the show suits families, with watersports demonstrations, a dive pool, food outlets, shopping, music and "interactive experiences for all ages". It has not published child ages or prices on the pages checked, so check the family ticket options at checkout.
No policy on service animals, wheelchair hire or accessible boarding was found. RTA says all Metro stations have lifts, but that does not tell you about pontoons, tenders or yachts. Visitors who need step-free routes should contact the organiser before buying.
Who goes, and what do first-timers get wrong?
The show addresses buyers, industry professionals and enthusiasts, with a dedicated lounge and programme for captains and crew. The organiser says exhibitors draw buyers, yacht owners and trade professionals from more than 120 countries, alongside Dubai families out for the evening.
First-timers usually get four things wrong. They plan around the old April dates, they head to the World Trade Centre instead of Dubai Harbour, they drive to the venue expecting parking, and they assume a public ticket opens the invitation-only lounges. Book a November date, take the Metro, tram or a ride-hailing car, and arrange any yacht viewing with the exhibitor before you go.

Dubai International Boat Show: official dates and hoursWhat time does Dubai International Boat Show open?
The published November 2026 schedule opens at 15:00 every day. Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November close at 21:00; Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday close at 20:00.
