TEFAF Maastricht is the annual fair for fine art, antiques and design run by The European Fine Art Foundation at MECC Maastricht in the Netherlands. The 2027 edition is open to the public from 13 to 18 March, after two invitation-only preview days. It spans what the organiser calls 7,000 years of art, from antiquities to contemporary work, and it is in this directory because its vetting, rather than its size, is what sets it apart.
Who goes to TEFAF Maastricht?
Collectors, museum curators and directors, dealers and advisers, with the institutional and private-collector audience concentrated on the invitation-only Early Access and Collectors Preview days. From the Saturday the fair is open to anyone with a ticket, which is when it draws its broader art-loving public.
